Pier Robinson started in the film business as a Key PA on over 20 features and videos shot in NYC. Over the last several years, writing ventures include: script coverage for Lee Daniels and writing/production collaborations with noted comedians Faizon Love, Donnell Rawlings and even the legendary Mr. Paul Mooney. Pier also helped to discover talent as a Casting Assistant on Fox Searchlight’s feature films “Notorious” and “The Blind Side” working with Casting Directors Twinkie Byrd and Wendy McKenzie. Most recently, Pier became a filmmaker, writing and producing the short film, 7 Pennies, about a Creole girl in 1940s New Orleans who plots to escape a world of abuse: @7penniesfilm on IG.
