Jamal began his formal dance training at 14 with the Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre. At the time, he also performed in several Debbie Allen productions. In 2012, Jamal moved to Los Angeles to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy graduating with his BFA in Dance Theatre. He has worked with artists including Beyonce, Snoop Dog, Swae Lee and P!nk. He has also appeared in ads for Google, a Burger King, Universal Studios Japan, and Adidas. Jamal has choreographed and done movement direction for Sk8, Ari Lennox, and Josh Dean. Jamal's latest directorial work, "American Dream" was featured in Rolling Stones.
