Ganeesh Genus is an award-winning filmmaker from West Palm Beach, Florida who mixes real with surreal, to accurately depict the world around him. Earning a Bachelor's degree in Television and Film Production from St. John’s University, and his MFA from The City College of New York, Ganeesh’s work has been screened across the U.S in New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta, and abroad in China, Nigeria, Poland, England and Spain. Through his inspiring work that showcases the everyday trials of Black millennials, Ganeesh has received multiple awards including being named an Honorary State Representative in Indiana.
