Ciara Boniface is a 22-year old director and writer currently based in Los Angeles. In February 2018, Ciara won a nationwide search for the ‘Next Visionary Filmmaker’ -- an award presented by Walt Disney Studios, Nissan, and Wrinkle in Time director, Ava DuVernay.

Ciara has directed and written a total of sixteen short films. Ciara strives to shine a light on social and Southern-based issues in her work while providing representation for Black women in the horror/ thriller sphere. Ciara is currently in the process of producing the feature film version of Skintight, which will be her very first feature production.
