He sees his role as a Cinematographer to serve as an advisor to the director. His job is to help guide and/or execute the director's vision as it pertains to the visual presentation of the project; in whatever capacity works best for their specific collaboration. He's open to all genres and projects, as long as there’s a sense of risk or fresh approach involved from the creative team. He wants to avoid projects that feel like they’re regurgitating old ideas, and are content with safe choices.
