Culture inspires me. Growing up enamored by Caribbean, Latino, African, and European cultures through movies, music, fashion, food, etc, created a desire in me to tell those stories. I'm also inspired by women such as Issa Rae, Michaela Cole, Mindy Kaling, and Tina Fey, who write, direct, and act in their shows. Their authenticity and creativity in their work is something I aspire to do.
