INSPIRATION

Right now, I am obsessed with Ari Aster and can’t wait to see his next project. I love his ability to take real human experience and center it around a genre (horror). I am someone who doesn’t gravitate towards horror; however, I respect any artist who takes huge swings.

BIO

Chinwe Okorie is a Nigerian-born writer, director, and editor in Austin, TX. She attended St. Edwards University and launched a student run TV station called Topper TV. The school awarded the station with The Rising Star Award after its first year. Study Breaks magazine paid attention and featured Chinwe as their Next Big Thing in 2014. After college, Chinwe went on to write, direct, and edit short films including her most recent short film Lovebites.
